A paw print or nose print jewelry is a way to turn your pet's actual print into a custom-made piece of jewelry.

In the TRACES collection, I transform real paw prints of dogs, cats, and other pets into original bronze and silver jewelry. Each piece is created from a specific print, so no two are exactly alike.

Why get paw or nose print jewelry?

For many of us, pets are are family. We have phones full of photos, but a paw or nose print is something else. It's a real physical trace of a specific animal that you can carry with you every day.

That's why impression jewelry is so special. It's not created from a photo or a universal template, but from a real paw or nose, capturing details that are unique to a specific animal.

How is a impression jewelry created?

Creating a print is simple and safe. The print can be made in person at my studio in Nová Cvernovka in Bratislava or remotely.

If you're from another city, I'll send you a complete print-making kit along with instructions.

The process works simply:

You create the print using soft two-component silicone, following the instructions precisely.
You fill out a short form.
You send the print back to me.
I transform it into a piece of jewelry.

The silicone used is soft, safe, and leaves no residue or damage on the paw or nose. Taking the print itself only takes a few seconds.

However, it should be noted that not every animal will find the print-taking pleasant. The nose, in particular, can be a sensitive area. If you know that your dog or cat does not tolerate similar handling, I recommend considering this before ordering.

What kind of impression jewelry do I make?

Most often I make these:

pendants and rings with paw or nose prints
rings and wedding bands with fingerprints
pendants with a child's handprint or finger print

Each piece of jewelry is made individually according to the specific print.

I work with 925 sterling silver or bronze. Bronze is combined with chains made of gold-plated stainless steel. Impression jewelry can be also made in gold upon request.

Why I created the TRACES collection

Honestly? I should have created this collection a long time ago. 🙂 As someone who has loved animals all my life, I still don't quite understand why it took me so long.

The ability to transfer a real paw or nose print into metal combines two things I love: animals and craftsmanship.

An animal's nose print is as unique as a human fingerprint!

What fascinates me about prints is that each one is different. Sometimes it's perfectly clear, sometimes a small groove or other detail appears, and sometimes fur is also part of the prints.

Each piece is created with the knowledge that it is not just a pretty object, but something that has real meaning for its owner, and that is the greatest reward for me.
