Custom work

Welcome, I am so honored that you are considering a unique, bespoke piece from me. Whether it is a handmade, bespoke piece of jewelry or an interior design object, my goal is to create pieces that resonate deeply with you. Each design is a unique blend of your ideas and my design and craftsmanship, ensuring that no two objects will be the same. From personal treasures to corporate gifts. Let's create something together that tells your story.

Process & Timeline

How long does it take to create a custom piece?

Creating a custom piece is a collaborative journey. Once we discuss your ideas and budget I can start to design. I take into account every detail—from your initial ideas to the final delivery. Depending on the complexity of your design, this process generally takes between **4 and 12 weeks**. Simpler pieces, like a minimalistic ring or tray, may fall within the **4-8 week** range, while more intricate items, such as interior objects or detailed awards, engament rings etc. may require **8-12 weeks**.Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated at every stage, from design to prototype to final product, ensuring that your piece is exactly what you envisioned.

Budget & Payment

Budget

I understand that every project comes with a budget, and I am happy to accommodate your financial requirements while still delivering something of exceptional quality. The final price depends on the complexity of the design, the materials used, and any additional details like special packaging. I offer **bespoke handcrafted jewelry** made from brass, silver, or gold, with or without stones, as well as **handcrafted custom objects** such as jewelry boxes, jewelry stands, serving trays suitable for restaurants, or even corporate gifts like trophies or awards. Rest assured, I’ll work closely with you to provide options that suit your budget while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship.

Payment

Once we agree on your budget, the initial **design fee** is paid upfront as an advance and is non refundable. This fee covers the consultations, designing process and prototyping necessary to ensure that the final product meets your expectations. The final payment will include the **remaining balance**, which encompasses the materials, crafting, and any additional requests such as special packaging. This final payment is settled upon delivery or completion of the order. The design fee starts at 60€

Design

Design prep

The design phase is a crucial part of the process, as it is here that we translate your ideas into tangible form. Once you’ve shared your vision, I’ll create a few concept sketches for us to review together. This phase is charged separately as an **advance payment**, and it covers the consultations, research, and preparation of prototypes if necessary. Your involvement in this phase is key—whether through conversations or revisions, we’ll refine the design until it’s just right.

Editing an existing design

If you are looking for an original piece of jewelry or object, but your budget does not allow for a complete custom creation, or you just want something "simpler", you can also choose a personalized piece of jewelry based on one of my existing designs (adding a stone, adjusting the size, adding text, etc.). Some jewelry is designed to be personalized. You can find these in thePersonalizable Jewelry section.

Editing finished designs is faster, easier, and the price does not include a design fee.

Design: Vision, Not Imitation

My creative process is deeply personal and driven by stories, emotions, and ideas rather than recreating something that already exists. I do not work from provided reference images of other designer’s work or replicate existing designs. Instead, I focus on materializing the vision or story you wish to communicate through your custom piece. I aim to capture the essence of what you’re looking for, but every design is original and created through my own artistic lens.
While I reserve the right to maintain creative control throughout the design process, I value collaboration and will gladly incorporate adjustments based on your feedback after consultations and careful assessment. This ensures that your final piece still reflects your vision but is also unique and one of a kind.

Materials

Material selection

I work with **brass, silver, and gold** for my jewelry designs, incorporating stones should you wish. For interior objects or corporate items like trophies, I also offer options in **wood** and **brass**. Each material brings its own unique quality to a piece, and together we can decide which combination best represents your vision. My philosophy is to balance elegance and rawness, finding beauty in the material's natural characteristics, while also fitting your personal taste.

Recycling and repurposing old jewelry

Do you have an old piece of jewelry that you no longer wear? We can breathe new life into it. I can melt down old gold or silver and use it to create a new piece of jewelry.

In order for jewelry to be recycled, the following conditions must be met:

  • Visible hallmarks – The jewelry must have clearly legible and undamaged hallmarks.
  • Consistent metal purity – If multiple pieces are to be melted, they must all be of the same purity.
  • Verification of purity – If the hallmark is not visible, it is the customer's responsibility to arrange for professional testing of the metal and confirmation that its purity is in accordance with applicable standards in Slovakia.

I look forward to creating something uniquely yours.
