The advantage of brass and bronze over gold-plated jewelry is that their color does not wear off and the surface is relatively scratch-resistant. How to care for brass:

As with brass jewelry, it is best to clean brass with a product designed for this purpose. Make sure that the product does not come into contact with the wooden part of the object, wipe thoroughly after cleaning, dry and polish with a soft cloth. Brass parts are treated with an antioxidant layer during production, polish them only when oxidation is visible to prevent premature damage to the surface treatment.
