Cancellation policy
Withdrawal from the contract and refund
The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of payment if the workshop has not yet taken place.
If the customer withdraws from the contract within 14 days of payment and the workshop has not yet started, the money will be refunded via the same payment method within 14 days of receipt of the request.
After 14 days from payment, it is not possible to withdraw from the contract and request a refund, unless the organizer and the customer agree otherwise.
- cancellation of participation in the workshop by the customer
14 days or more before the workshop - by way of withdrawal from the contract as stated above, 100% refund of the price paid.
- cancellation 10 to 14 days before the workshop - 100% refund of the paid price. The customer can agree with the organizer to participate on another date if possible. The customer can also, after agreement with the organizer, transfer their paid date to another person (see below).
- cancellation 5 to 9 days before the workshop – 50% refund of the paid price. The customer can agree with the organizer to participate on another date if possible. The customer can also, after agreement with the organizer, transfer their paid date to another person (see below).
- cancellation less than 5 days before the workshop - participation is forfeited without refund.
If the customer does not show up for the workshop, participation will be forfeited without refund.
Important: If the workshop starts before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired, it is necessary to state your explicit consent that you wish the performance (participation in the workshop) to begin before the 14 days have expired and that you acknowledge that in such a case you lose the right to withdraw from the contract.
Cancellation or postponement of the workshop by the organizer
If the workshop has to be cancelled by the organizer (e.g. due to illness, unforeseen circumstances), the customer will be offered the option of:
rescheduling, refund of 100% of the amount paid.
If the organizer changes the workshop date and the customer is not satisfied with the new date, they have the right to a 100% refund of the amount paid.
Transferring the workshop to another person
The purchased workshop can be transferred to another person, as long as the customer informs the organizer of this change in advance and provides the new person's contact details (name, email and/or phone number).
The organizer reserves the right to refuse the workshop if the change is not reported in time or if the new person does not meet the conditions for participation (e.g. age limit, etc.). A change of participant must be notified no later than 48 hours before the workshop date.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, you can bring old 925/1000 sterling silver jewelry to be reworked for the silver jewelry making workshop and the wedding ring making workshop. However, please note that it is not possible to bring gold jewelry to be reworked, as these are beginner workshops and working with gold requires more skill. If you are interested in remaking old gold jewelry into new pieces, please visit my Custom section. It is also not possible to bring old jewelry to be reworked for the wood and brass jewelry making workshop.
My workshops are intended for adults, we work with sharp tools and use fire when working with silver. For this reason, the workshops are absolutely not suitable for children, without exception, even when accompanied by a parent.
In the silver jewelry making workshop, we focus mainly on the following techniques: cutting, bending and shaping, hammering, filing, grinding, embossing, and soldering.
At the wood and brass jewelry making workshop: cutting, bending and shaping, hammering, filing, grinding, embossing and cold joining (we do not solder).
There is no casting in the workshops, as this is a more advanced technique and my workshops focus on the basics.
